Sarah Finger is the co-founder of ISHTA Yoga, LLC and the private yoga teacher of Deepak Chopra. She shares the elevating tools of ISHTA to the yoga community worldwide through trainings, workshops, and retreats which she co-teaches with her husband, Yoga Master Alan Finger. Sarah believes that the practice of yoga is a microcosm for the life we lead off the mat, and that a deeper awareness of our physical, mental, and emotional habits can both transform and empower us to connect to our most authentic self. Sarah is a featured expert on Jiyo, a revolutionary digital platform that brings health and wellness to online communities all over the world. She is the co-creator of two online courses: “Finding Connection Through Yoga” and "Radical Being,” in collaboration with Deepak Chopra. Her third course, "Chakras 101" with Alan Finger was launched with Yoga Journal in January, 2018. Finally, Dr. Prichard has a special interest working with breast cancer patients and is an active expert in cancer conferences. He is committed to providing these patients the highest quality of life possible, and giving his patients their self-esteem and sense of wholeness. His expansive experience and expert surgical skills enable him to offer cancer patients a multitude of surgical options. These include an oncological mastopexy, a novel procedure to improve the cosmesis in a preserved breast. He is one of the few plastic surgeons trained in microsurgery and is able to perform highly complex surgeries for patients who have irradiated tissue or failed reconstruction and those who are not candidates for conventional techniques.

David Brinkman, M.B.A., Chief Executive Officer and President David joined Desert AIDS Project as CEO in August 2006. He has served the not-for-profit community for over 25 years, with senior management experience for the last 20 years. He previously worked as CEO of a nonprofit center for homeless youth and as Development Director for a nonprofit employment center for developmentally disabled adults. David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Lewis & Clark College and completed a Master of Business Administration degree, with emphasis in Ethical Business Management, from Pepperdine University. He is also a Specialist in Planned Giving certified by the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies. David represents Desert AIDS Project as a volunteer member of the Policy Research Advisory Committee of the California HIV/AIDS Policy Research Center at UCLA and serves on UCR School of Medicine’s Community Advisory Board. Additionally he is a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
Yoga teacher, Author, & Lecturer
Eddie Stern is a yoga teacher, author, and lecturer from New York City. He is known for his multi-disciplinary approach to furthering education and access to yoga, as well as his teaching expertise in Ashtanga Yoga. He most recently created The Breathing App, which guides the user in a paced breathing exercise that balances the nervous system, helping to improve sleep, and reduce stress and anxiety. One Simple Thing: A New Look at the Science of Yoga and How It Can Transform Your Life, his first solo book, was released this past March. Over the past thirty years Eddie has created and collaborated on numerous yoga and wellness projects in public education and in prisons to give the access of yoga to youth and adults who otherwise would not have been able to receive its benefits. His public school wellness curriculums have been implemented in schools across the country, and have reached over 100,000 children and educators. The Urban Yogis gun-violence reduction program, a collaboration with Dr. Deepak Chopra, has directly influenced harm reduction in Queens, NY, as well as expansion programs in Chicago, Kansas City, and London. He has designed yoga protocols for scientific studies that have showed cardiovascular improvements in pre-hypertensive middle aged, grade point average in high school students, and brain development in elementary school. His science ventures have led to the creation of the Yoga and Science Conference, a yearly conference that draws together scientists with healthcare workers and lay public to discuss the efficacies and best practices of yoga and meditation.

Chief Kalkbrenner is one of only six female Fire Chiefs of large metropolitan fire departments in the country. Her philosophy is that public administrators are community stakeholders and play an integral role in shaping the communities where we work and live. Chief Kalkbrenner leads 2,000 members and oversees an operating budget of more than $300 million dollars, carefully stewarding taxpayer dollars and city resources while serving as Phoenix Fire Department’s liaison to City Hall and the City's Law Department. Chief Kalkbrenner has served in every operational capacity within the Department’s six divisions, including Operations (Fire and Emergency Medical Services response), Fire Prevention, Human Resources, Physical Resources, Information Technology, and Training. That experience has provided her with the insight and understanding of all aspects of the Phoenix Fire Department.

Dr. Shukla is the co-founder of Vincere Cancer Center. She is a board-certified radiation oncologist in private practice in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area for the past seven years. She completed her Radiation Oncology training at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. There, she gained extensive training in stereotactic cranial and body radiotherapy, Gamma knife, high and low-dose brachytherapy, Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, and 3-D conformal radiotherapy. She went on to complete highly specialized training at the world-renowned University of Heidelberg, in Germany, in Proton and Heavy Ion therapy. Dr. Shukla treats all cancers requiring radiation. She has a special interest in treating brain tumors and is extremely honored to be one of the first Radiation Oncologist in the world to treat patients with Zap.
